Karikadu View Point, located on the Erattupetta route from Vagamon, is a hidden gem that provides breathtaking panoramic views of lush green valleys, mist-covered hills, and winding mountain roads. This tranquil area, marked by a beautiful panther statue, is ideal for relaxation, photography, and a cup of tea from one of the surrounding booths. Early mornings and nights are particularly lovely, with fog flowing over the hills and occasional waterfalls and wildflowers adding to the visual grandeur.
Although admission is free, parking is limited, so guests may have to park along the roadside. Karikadu View Point, with its serene environment and spectacular vistas, is a must-see for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anybody looking for a peaceful retreat in Vagamon. The viewpoint is located on the other side of a zigzag bend. There are a few tiny cafes and some ice cream vans.
